🌊 Silver Tree Marine — Aqua Lily Pad Rental Agreement

✅ 1. Cancellation Policy

❗ Cancel 10+ days before your pickup date = Full refund
❌ Cancel within 10 days = No refund
🌧️ No exceptions for weather, illness, or change of plans. This is strictly enforced.

📍 2. Pickup & Return

• Aqua Lily Pads must be picked up and returned in person at Silver Tree Marine.

• 🕓 Return time will be assigned at check-out.

• Pads must be returned on time and to the same location to avoid late fees.

🧰 3. What's Included

Your Aqua Lily Pad rental includes:
🟩 1 Floating Pad (6 ft x 15 ft, holds approx. 6–8 people depending on weight)

Important Safety Rules:

• 🧍‍♂️ All users must know how to swim.

• 🎽 Life jackets are strongly recommended for all users.

• ❌ No use after sunset—pads must be off the water by dusk.

• 🚫 Do NOT drag the pad on pavement, gravel, docks, or rocks—this causes damage.

👧 4. Child Safety

• 👶 Children under 13 must wear a life jacket while using the pad.

• 🛑 Never leave children unattended on the water.

• Use only in calm, shallow water for children’s safety.

🌊 5. Lake Usage Rules (Deep Creek Lake)

Please observe all Deep Creek Lake regulations:

🚫 Stay at least 100 feet from docks, boats, buoys, shorelines, and bridges.
🟠 Never attach pads near high-traffic boating areas.
⚠️ Pads are for floating and lounging, not for towing or high-impact activities.

⏰ 6. Late Return Fees

• Kayaks returned past the assigned time = $50 per 30 minutes

• 🪢 Even with staff help, you’re responsible for properly securing the pad on return.

⚠️ 7. Damage & Responsibility

You are 100% responsible for any damage to the Aqua Lily Pad.
Includes:

• 🔪 Rips, cuts, tears, or punctures

• 🪧 Damage from dragging on hard surfaces

• 💦 Mold or staining from improper drying/storage

Examples of chargeable damage:
Dragging across concrete, folding while wet, or improper transport

📌 Staff may assist with loading/unloading, but you remain liable for any damage.

🔧 8. Breakdowns & Emergencies

If your pad is damaged or sinks:

We'll assist ASAP.
❌ Damage due to misuse may result in additional charges.
❌ No refunds for loss of time due to customer-related issues.

⚖️ 9. Legal Terms

• If any part of this agreement is unenforceable, the rest still applies.

• Legal matters will be resolved in Garrett County, MD, under Maryland state law.

✍️ 10. Acknowledgment & Liability Release

By signing below, you agree that:

📖 You’ve read and understood this agreement.
🛟 You assume all risks involved with using a floating pad.
💸 You are financially responsible for any damage or lost equipment.
🛑 You release Silver Tree Marine, its staff, and owners from any liability for injury, death, or property loss, even if caused by negligence.
