Dock Rentals Policies

🚤 Silver Tree Marine Dock Slip Rental Policy
We do not rent slips to boats from another marina, personal boats only.

💡 Please review carefully before booking your dock slip.

🔒 1. Use & Restrictions

• ✅ Your slip is for your boat only.

• 🚫 No sharing, subletting, or swapping boats without written approval from Silver Tree Marine.

• 💬 Let us know if something changes—we're here to help!

💳 2. Payment & Cancellation

• 💵 Payment is due in full at the time of booking.

• ✅ Cancel 10+ days before your reservation = Full refund

• ❌ Cancel within 10 days = No refund

• Plan ahead to avoid losing your spot or your money!

🧾 3. Insurance & Legal Stuff

• 🛥️ Your boat must be registered and have current liability insurance.

• 📜 You agree to follow all local, state, and federal boating laws on Deep Creek Lake.

⚓ 4. Docking & Boat Care

• 🔗 You are responsible for securing your boat with proper bumpers, lines, and covers.

• 🧰 We reserve the right to adjust your lines if needed to protect property.

• 🌧️ Weather or waves? You’re responsible for any damage to your vessel.

• 🙅 Silver Tree Marine is not liable for damage from weather, improper tie-offs, or actions of others.

🛑 5. Liability & Responsibility

By docking with us, you agree to:

• ⚠️ Take full responsibility for injury, damage, or loss caused by your boat or guests.

• 🛡️ Release Silver Tree Marine from liability for theft, vandalism, environmental damage (like low lake levels), or acts of others.

📏 6. Marina Rules (Follow These!)

1. 🛡️ Have boat insurance.

2. ⛽ No fuel containers on the dock—fueling must be done off-site.

3. 🚭 No smoking on the docks or in docked boats.

4. 🧹 Keep your area clean. Use trash bins provided.

5. ⚡ No electricity available at slips.

6. 🔥 No flammable chemicals, open flames, or hazardous items allowed.

7. 🤝 Be kind to your neighbors! We use double slips—no catwalks between boats.

8. ⛔ Rule violations = immediate termination without refund. You must remove your boat promptly.

9. 🚫 No trailer parking at the marina—please use Deep Creek State Park.

10. 🛶 Launch your boat from a public ramp. Silver Tree Marine does not have a launch ramp.

🛠️ 7. Other Important Info

• We may reassign your dock for safety or operational reasons.

• This rental does not give you ownership of the dock.

• Legal issues? They’ll be handled in Garrett County, Maryland.
